From Asheville:

Take Exit 9 off of Hwy 26

Come into Burnsville on 19-E. Pass through 9 traffic lights in this order.

1) Phipps Creek and Old US 19E

2) Jacks Creek

3) Mountain Heritage High School

4) State Employee's Credit Union

5) Burger King and CVS on your right

6) Pensacola Road; just below Ingles

7) Heritage Lumber and Subway on your right

8) Highway 197 and Glen Raven Mills on your left.

9) Quality Plus gas station on your left

At next light turn right onto George’s Fork Road and go up the hill. East Yancey Middle School is the next driveway to the left through the fence.

From Spruce Pine:

Follow 19-E from Spruce Pine approximately 8 miles to the second traffic light. Turn left onto George’s Fork Road and go up the hill. East Yancey Middle School is the next driveway to the left through the fence.
